Iâm Jackâa photographer, writer, and autodidact living in New York City. Most days, I run Expertise at FirstMark, an early-stage VC firm; backers of Pinterest, Shopify, and more. On nights and weekends, I run my photography business and explore all sorts of other interests. I obsess over new tech and consider myself a proud early adopter of the newest apps and products (digital + physical). I also used to write daily here (for 100 days straight!).

The Deep Dive (monthly): Every once in a while I have deeper thoughts (I know, philosophical right?). Whether itâs a macro trend or photo essay, Iâll share longer-form pieces for those slower days when you want a bit more to chew on.
You Can Do That? (occasionally): Iâm a huge fan of shortcuts, tips, and tricksâreally anything where you go: âWoahâyou can do that?â Iâll share my photography and tech secrets with you so your photos (and life) get a little better.
